Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Onboardly platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The service
Onboardly is a cloud-based platform for staff onboarding, compliance tracking, document management, and employment offers, accessible at onboardly.com.au.
2. Account registration
You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, be authorised to act on behalf of your business, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required. Access is restricted after the trial unless a subscription is activated. Trial data is retained for 30 days then deleted.
4. Subscription and payment
Subscriptions are $99 AUD per month (plus GST), billed monthly in advance via Stripe. We may change pricing with 30 days written notice.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Onboardly to violate any law, process data without consent, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content, or resell the platform without written consent.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring lawful collection of staff personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
8. Intellectual property
All IP in the Onboardly platform remains our exclusive property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach, non-payment, or legal requirement. Customer data is retained for 30 days post-termination then deleted.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
